How Simon Works
When you sign up for a Simon subscription, you’ll get a phone number. That phone number will be your ‘business line’, and that’s where Simon comes in.
He’ll receive the call, and take the next steps based on what you’ve asked of him.

He can take a message,
he can patch the call through,

and he can stop likely spammers from wasting your time.

Getting Started
When you sign up for a Simon subscription, we’ll have a short 30 minute call to discuss how you’d want to use Simon, so we can set him up the way it works best for you.
A self-service portal is on the way for Simon! However, you’ll always have the option to speak to one of our experts.
Once we know what you need, we’ll set up your Simon app, and issue you a phone number. Get that number out there! Put it on your website, on your Maps listings, wherever you have a presence. Simon wall take calls at that number, and call you from that number to connect you to your next lead.

Scheduling
First, it’s important to know that Simon has a scheduling system. You set your normal weekly schedule, then choose which Call Handling mode runs during your work week, and which one runs in the off hours.
You can also set holidays and days off, ensuring Simon is covering for you.

Pass-Through
Simon will push the call to you first, but pick up if you don’t answer quickly.
Optional: In pass-through mode, you can disable having Simon pick up at all. Keep in mind that this will prevent him from taking messages for you.
Assistant
Balanced mode; Simon will take the call and can ask a few questions, then will either try to patch you in or take a message.

Configurable Voice
Choose from a dozen different voices, male and female!
Message Delivery
Simon can text or email you messages and call notifications. He can send them as they happen, hourly, or daily. During after hours handling, you can choose to enable getting the messages through your normal method, or he can bundle them up and send them at the start of your work schedule.
Custom Questions
You can provide up to 2 ‘before’ and 3 ‘after’ questions, to ensure you get as much info from the caller as possible.
‘Before’ means we try to connect you in Assistant mode,
‘After’ means if we have to take a message. If in Everything mode, Simon will ask all of the questions at once.
Text Link Question
Simon can ask the user if they want to receive a link instead of leaving a message; in that case, Simon will provide any link you specify over text to them.
Think of this as a way of sending them to your Calendly to book a call with you. You’ll still receive a notice of the call and any questions they answered.
Simon Callback
Instead of exposing your ‘real’ number, you can return calls or messages by dialing/texting Simon and telling him who you wanted to speak to.
VIP Bypass
You can provide a set of phone numbers that get to reach you directly; if Assistant mode is on, he’ll only get on the line if you’re unable to answer.
